I spent two fast-paced weeks in Miami with my colleague Jonas Togo filming a number of films for former racing driver Christina Nielsen. Track-side with a lineup of Porsches at Daytona International Speedway, Sebring Raceway, and the Miami Speedway, we set out to capture the atmosphere and energy that define South Florida motorsport.
Armed with a kit including 2 Sony A7 IV bodies, a Sony ZV, a DJI Air 2S drone, GoPros and a range of lenses, we worked from sunrise setups on Miami Beach to high-intensity race action, aerials and everything in between. Our goal was to make the viewers truly feel the luxury, the adrenaline, the heat and the speed.
In post-production, I focused on the shorter films while Jonas Togo cut the main film. Together we shaped a film with music, pacing and rhythm that kept the energy alive from start to finish. The final films present a journey through world-class cars, iconic tracks, and the unmistakable character of Miami. It’s a celebration of precision, passion and pace. This is The Destination.
