We spent 10 days with a group of young, talented football players during their training camp in Portugal. The brief was clear: document the camp and create a high-energy hype film plus a set of short player profiles. For video I mainly worked with my Sony A7IV , drone shots for the bigger moments and DJI Osmo for fast paced POV shots. I also shot a few stills along the way with my Fujifilm x100vi. We covered training sessions, gym work, recovery routines and interviews with players and coaches.
Back home I edited and graded the main hype film and the individual player profiles of Landon Emenalo and Sydney Agina aiming for a visually engaging style, but still letting the footage breathe naturally.
The result is a set of films that capture the intensity of the camp and the momentum these players are building.
